Sorry, no pets are allowed at the cottage or on the site. There are 4 cottages on the site, all privately owned now, and we have a collective agreement for no pets. The field adjacent to the cottage often has sheep, and cows with calves. A stray pet could cause a lot of harm to either animals, to the people walking them or the animals could harm the pet. 

In addition, we have a family member severely allergic to pet hair so we cannot be flexible with this.

Yes! You can fish off the two jetty’s and our boys have caught pike, perch and trout from there. The water is deep within a short distance off the jetty and those areas attract fish. You will need a licence and permit. You can buy all licences online. You need a combined licence and permit, you can select from game or coarse. Options are 3 day (£9.50) or 14 day (£20 for coarse, £26.50 for game). These cover you to fish anywhere in Northern Ireland. Nearest fishing shop is in Belleek at back of The Thatch Cafe, Main Street – McGraths. In Enniskillen – Home, Field & Stream or Fishing Tackle and Bait. Fishing Tackle and Bait are mail order too so you could order items so that they are ready for you. There are other fishing tackle shops in Fermanagh.

Yes, we have a portable charcoal bbq. You will need to bring your own fuel for it.

Yes, we are 5 minutes drive from Pettigo, 10 minutes drive from either Kesh or Belleek.

Yes, we can supply a travel cot but you need to ask for it in advance. We supply a sheet for it and we have found that parents prefer to supply their own bedding for their baby or toddler.

We also have a booster seat, and child’s toilet seat. These are not stored at the cottage so you need to ask in advance.

We have a booster seat which fits onto an ordinary chair.

I am flexible with check in and out times depending on availability of the cottage. If no one is booked in on your departure day then I can offer a later check out time. It’s not guaranteed but I like to give people as long as possible to enjoy their stay.

I ask that you leave the cottage as close to the condition you found it in as possible. Many hands make light work and everyone helping out with the basics can help reduce the turn around time so you can check in earlier or out later.

We are happy for you to have friends and family visit during your stay. The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 6 people staying, and I am happy for you to have up to that number staying. So for example if your group is booked as 4 for a few days but you would like 2 people to stay for 1 night during that time, I am happy to set up for them. We cannot accommodate more than 6 people and ask that you are respectful of that. I supply bedding for up to 6 people so I will ask you to confirm the number of guests staying prior to your arrival so I can set up as necessary.

Yes, lots of easy cycling in the area locally especially in Tullychurry forest.

There is a swing and trampoline on site. Lots to explore by the water’s edge, plus some fishing. You may need a wetsuit for open water swimming though! Easy access to the water if you bring a kayak or small boat. The site is gated so there are not many cars around and so cycling is safe on the driveway. There are green areas for kicking a football around! The Cottage has some toys available.

All bedrooms are upstairs. Downstairs is comprised of lounge, kitchen and bathroom (with walk in shower).

We include a basket of wood and some kindling for the fire. If you would like additional firewood we can supply this for £5 per bag. The wood is dry and seasoned and will burn well for you. We include kindling and newspapers to help you get the fire going. Please let us know in advance if you would like additional wood. A bag should be able to run a fire for an evening or two depending on how long the fire is running.

First of all, lovely soft white bed linen to include 2 pillows, bottom sheet and duvet per person booked.

Furthermore, the two twin bedrooms can be made up as individual twin beds or these beds can be pushed together with one set of bed linen. This forms a super king bed.
